A creative studio in Costa Rica. We know — there are several.
The difference, or our version of it: we've run the kind of business you run. So we're not guessing what makes someone book — we're remembering it. For the hospitality, wellness and lifestyle people who built something good in person and are tired of watching it get flattened online.
We're a small studio on the Nicoya Peninsula that takes the whole job off your desk — brand, creative direction, photo and video, and the posting itself. Then we go surf.
What we do
Four things. Done properly.
Social media management
We run the whole account — planning, posting, replying, the parts nobody has time for — so it sounds like you on a good day, every day.
Content
production
Photo, video, and the vertical stuff, shot on the day your place looks like the reason people come — by the two of us, not rented for the day.
Strategic
consulting
Advice from people who've actually run restaurants, bars and hotels — for when what you need isn't a campaign, it's someone who'll tell you the truth.
Creative direction & branding
The menu, the signage, the packaging, the feed — all looking like they came from the same place. Because right now they probably don't.
Things we've made
Mad Living
They were showing the furniture. Not the people who make it, or the artwork that goes into it.

Apartado Creativo
A store full of other people's brands. Our job was making it sound like its own.

Unikko
The products come from everywhere. The logo, brand and feed came from us.

Hamburguesía
A better burger, Costa Rican–owned restaurant, that finally looks the part.

About OLA
—
Kristel + Álvaro — the two people behind OLA.
We both worked with Adidas. Him in Germany, her in Costa Rica.
We're married, both Costa Rican, both with a bit of German somewhere in the family — which comes in handy on this coast more often than you'd think. The whole studio is the two of us: you'll be dealing with us start to finish, which is either a feature or a liability, depending on how you feel about account managers.
